The benefit Tuesday night was definitely a success...along with raising over $2500 for the United Way of Eastern Central Iowa, we had reporters from both the ABC and Fox News affiliates in Los Angeles covering the show, and we had the opportunity to connect with Iowans from all over Los Angeles. While we did not reach our goal, we continue to have friends and family letting us know that they are mailing checks directly to the United Way, so we may yet top $5000. In addition, Jessica will be doing a push to get corporate donors onboard to support the people in the flood ravaged areas.
Another positive that we came away with on Tuesday was a couple of the bands expressed interest in doing another benefit show a month or so down the road, so please check back to this site as we will keep updating information as it comes in.
